A trilogy is more than a group of images.

It is a thought, a mood, a reflection expressed through different points of view.

Sometimes the images strengthen a feeling.

Sometimes they create contrast.

Sometimes they simply slow us down long enough to notice what was already there.

A trilogy can speak about horizons, refuge, simple joys, love, light, seasons or quiet beauty.

One image sets the atmosphere.

Another deepens it.

The last lets the atmosphere settle.

Together they tell a story without needing too many words.

Perhaps that is why I love creating them so much.
